Cancer changes lives — not just physically, but emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
For many women, the end of treatment does not mean the end of the journey. It marks the beginning of a new chapter — one that requires courage, compassion, and care beyond medicine.
At Astitva Foundation, we believe that every breast cancer survivor deserves not only the gift of life but also the strength to live it fully, freely, and fearlessly. 💖

🌷 A New Initiative for Breast Cancer Survivors – Launching May 2025
In a heartfelt collaboration with the Department of Surgical Oncology, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital (AIIMS, New Delhi), and the Laxmi Narain Foundation, Astitva Foundation is introducing specialized survivor support services at AIIMS Delhi.
These services are designed to go beyond medical care — to restore confidence, comfort, and self-worth, helping women rediscover themselves after mastectomy and other cancer-related treatments.
💕 Specialized Services for Healing and Empowerment
Our initiative focuses on two essential post-surgery needs of breast cancer survivors:
🔹 Breast Prosthesis (for Post-Mastectomy Survivors)
The loss of a breast can deeply affect a woman’s self-image and emotional well-being. Astitva Foundation provides custom-fitted breast prostheses that help restore natural body contour, enhance confidence, and make dressing easier and more comfortable.
Each fitting is conducted in a safe, private, and compassionate environment, ensuring every woman feels respected, supported, and beautiful in her own skin.
🔹 Arm Stockings (for Lymphedema Prevention)
After breast surgery or lymph node removal, many survivors are at risk of lymphedema — a painful swelling of the arm. To prevent this, we offer medically approved compression stockings that improve circulation and help maintain arm health.
Our trained team guides each survivor on proper usage, care, and exercises to promote long-term well-being.

💖 Our Philosophy: Healing Beyond Medicine
For us at Astitva Foundation, survivorship is not defined by the number of years after diagnosis — it is defined by the quality of life, confidence, and self-respect a woman regains after her battle with cancer.
We understand that the scars of cancer run deeper than the body. The emotional journey — of acceptance, rediscovery, and renewal — requires empathy, encouragement, and empowerment.
Through this initiative, we aim to stand beside every survivor, reminding her that she is not alone, not forgotten, and never less than whole. 🌸
🌺 Our Commitment
At Astitva Foundation, our mission is rooted in three promises:
✔ Empower Survivors – by providing tools, resources, and emotional strength to reclaim their lives.
✔ Restore Dignity – by offering compassionate care that honors every woman’s journey.
✔ Ensure No Woman Stands Alone – by building a community of support, understanding, and sisterhood.
Every service we offer is an act of love — a reminder that even after cancer, life can bloom again.
🌼 Together, We Create Astitva – The Essence of Being
Our partnership with AIIMS Delhi and Laxmi Narain Foundation reflects a shared vision — a vision where no survivor feels incomplete, unseen, or unsupported.
Together, we are building not just a program, but a movement of healing and hope.
Because at Astitva Foundation, we believe that true recovery begins when a woman looks in the mirror and smiles again — not because the scars are gone, but because she finally sees her strength. 💫
