What is Cancer ?
The human body is composed of numerous cells that undergo a cycle of replication and renewal. The body has a built-in mechanism that ensures these cells are kept in check and do not behave abnormally. However, in certain cases, certain cells deviate from this process and start to multiply uncontrollably, leading to the development of cancer. Cancer cells can also evade the natural surveillance mechanisms of the body, thereby allowing them to spread to other parts of the body through the bloodstream or lymphatic channels.
Types of Tumours
Cancer tumours can be divided into three groups: benign, malignant or precancerous
